Give Yourself a Little Treat - Wellbeing ritual

Well, I have to say I'm one of these people who enjoy ceremony and ritual, not pomp and ceremony or action for the sake of performance but the gathering of people and things for intention and connection. What ritual and ceremony can do is take a moment of connection and open you to be an amplifier of energy or an energy capacitor so to speak, or both.

How to best illustrate this is most of us will at some time have had a moment when you feel connected, at peace and in a way expanded. Maybe you took a walk and you came upon a spot and you were drawn to a particular tree or rock or patch of dirt, then found your self hugging the tree, or laying on the rock or sitting leaning against the trunk or running dirt through your fingers. And in that fine moment your were just present and clear and open. Maybe you took a moment to just be in the moment, take in the vista. Ritual is part of this. it is to place yourself in that state and then notch it up to take conscious part by declaring intention and opening an opportunity to conscious in the connection as opposed to being aware of the connection. Your taking awareness and transforming it to being conscious. This is awareness amplified. which allows a level of interaction.

So if one person can put intention out with amplified awareness then a gathering of people doing the same thing is pretty interesting to contemplate.

Navigating this stop-start environment we all live under to some extent, people gathering in the same spot is a little grey However because energy flows in an ocean of vibration and frequency then a group can synchronise over distance. And sometimes it is just a treat to tune in at anytime.

So how can we make a ritual for one person.

Choose a location.

Consider special clothing.

Prior Preparation.

Gather your supplies.

Acknowledge each thing you are using as offering; where it has come from and that it is immaterial and will one day be go back to where it came from.

Location, for many this is the bathroom or the bedroom.

Why? A quick way is that we feel comfortable to disrobe, letting go of the day that has been and donning the raiment of the mind you are in, comfortable trackies maybe.

Both locations have two applications as their fundamental intention is a little different try them out at different times to see how each feels. I personally use both and this extends to outside as well.

What to wear to add a tweak, gather a new set of trackies that you only use for these purposes or whatever. Consider the remnant of our rituals, we always had clothes we wore for a particular ceremony, weddings, funerals, birthday, new year's day. Little confused traditions. It is just the acknowledgement to your sub-conscious that you have changed from one state to another by the simple act of changing into clothes made/purchased specifically for a purpose. It is an interesting thing.

If you want to take a little advanced twist you could disrobe in one room and then move through a doorway, then don raiment in another room, transforming you and the space from one intention to another; bedroom to lounge, bathroom to lounge, or bedroom to study or the like. You know what spaces you have, inside and outside.

Preparing the space, if you want to add intention to your daily ritual of changing from one part of the day to another consider the room you wish the intention to be declared in. You need to trigger a response in the sub-conscious that something has changed in this room it is not just the lounge to vege out in it is that and today it is my temple. So clear a space, table top, something that is a designated space. Even if you put a small folding table in the corner where you intend to sit just for the purpose of performing ritual. The space can be permanent or temporary. Try to do this before you start.

If you've come this far, take time to really acknowledge you have changed from one state to another. Maybe light a candle, mindfully of where you've been how you feel now and extend that smooth feeling into the next part of the day. Give thanks that you have this day.

You could stop here, or take it to the next level. Jst before you light the candle consider this.

Declare intention, state out loud, something like, 'I let go of who I have been in the past that no longer serves me and take up my new way of being in alignment with purpose.' or whatever moves your inner guidance to acknowledge.

And that is the operative word, 'move' this is the feeling of the motivation behind your words. Say it and say it with feeling. Try not to 'perform it'. Though 'faking until you make it,' is a real thing. Don't get caught in the 'faking' as being what makes it real. It is just practice and time. The words are better if they have your feeling associated with it. And to ramp it up a bit let the feeling flow into a picture.

For some people it is reverse, allow a picture to form or feel what it is then let the picture form. When you feel set, let the word or words come. again time and practice.

If you feel shaky in confidence. Take a moment before starting to write down something or quote an intention or affirmation someone else wrote, that really has a resonance with you. No rules it could be just a word that sums it up. Gently hold the intention, like you have placed a feather you love completely in a fragile cup. Then mindfully light the candle. And give thanks for the day.

You could stop there and let go of the process or take another step. Have a small mindful meditation either your own or a recording, just include a little sitting in silence, allowing breath.

Gather your objects of offering; a favourite crystal, some flowers you have gathered, objects from nature that have meaning to you. If you don't have any go outside and gather just specifically for this purpose and this day. and it can be just one thing that sums it up.

Hold the object and just allow your 'spidey sense' to feel the quality of the object, observe your feelings allow thoughts of initial contact to fade with breath.

Then let us go a little further and say out loud, something like; 'May the energy present support my transformation today, as it is done here may it ripple out to bring balance and peace to all things of the Earth and beyond the Earth. I offer my love as a child created of the Earth and the Sky. Thank you for all that is done, now, in the past and in the future.

Take a moment to feel with your 'spidey sense', feel how the space feels around you and allow your awareness return to your breath. Then let go of the ceremony.

You can complexify this anyway you feel guided to, however this is just to maintain 'muscle condition' so to speak. The more often you do something the easier it becomes and the more empowered.

The Bathroom Many people choose the bathroom as their ritual space, not only for the disrobing part but it is potentially the only place when you shut the door you are undisturbed until you get out. Plus it's a little womb like.

Try to add a little twist, if you are comfortable, disrobe an another room then travel to the bathroom, then close the door. Make sure you have all your supplies.

Allow the moisture content to build; turn on the water to hot allow a cloud of steam, then back it off to your favourite temperature. This is for shower or bath.

State your case and light your candle. Embrace a light meditative state, feel into your objects of Nature; crystals, essences, oils, special soaps or whatever and make your declaration of intention.

Add your objects with care to the bath, acknowledge each one as it goes into the water.

Then put yourself in the water. Repeat your intention to yourself and just breathe and visualise the intention and the love you feel for the Earth and all her creations. To notch it up, visualise this filling your body like a golden energy and then radiating into the water from your body until not only is the water resonant with the golden light of your intention but your body reabsorbs the transformed energy until every cell is filled with golden light.

Stay as long as necessary, however when you feel the 'get out!' then do that, gently. Don't over stay your welcome, or overcook your intention.

Try not to combine a ritual bath with an everyday bath as it can water down your intention. however be guided by what is important to you there is no wrong way to do anything.

What I use in my rituals.

When I take off my clothes I rub on Aura-Soma Equilibrium that I have chosen, this can be one or up to four different combinations, depending on what I'm drawn to work with at the time.

Then I use a Pomander that relates to my four bottle selection before changing rooms. This is like gearing for the journey energetically.

Just before entering the next room I apply a Quintessence. I love this and its relationship to self-mastery before entering the realised space.

Enter, use Archangeloi relating to the Equilibrium I'm working with. For me this relates to a memory of before my birth in the conscious layering of the energy of the planets and human consciousness at the time. I was becoming who I was from the angle of the society and environment I was born to. The Archangeloi is like this process repeated from a different perspective.

Don raiment....sometimes.

State my intention and light the candle allow a meditative state,15mins, apply colour essence. Take a moment to feel the quality of the energy activated as the layer bridge. Then acknowledge my objects from Nature.

More often than not these days I use a Crystal bowl filled with good water. A couple of choice crystals, then as I open to Nature I allow myself to be a tool kit for nature to reveal what it feels it would like to support this intention rippling out into the network. I lay out all my offerings in front of me, these consist of Pomanders, Quintessences, Colour Essences, Archangeloi, and Equilbrium Rescue set. I have in the past offered my own Equilibrium that I'm using at the time and the response that returned, was they already had these energies as I was using them so they were all good thanks. Makes you go 'derr!' and feel a little slow.

At times I receive a picture, at times it is like a 'nudge' that is weirdly like words and sometimes it is direct words. So then I place the required thing in the water. Then I give thanks and let go. After I take the water and distribute around the land I'm on as indicated by Nature via a simple process used in biodynamics. Sometimes I'll put it in a spray bottle to spray around the house, whatever is needed.

I find a ritual Bath though is more directly for me, though nothing is really.

If I'm using a bath I go a bit reverse. I enter the room, turn the moisture up, state my intention, light a candle, add Pomander, Quintessence and Colour Essence to the water and use a Flower Shower that best represents my intention. These are used as my objects from nature as they have the active energies from Nature already present in their manufacture.

When I leave the bath I rub myself with Equilbrium and after I dress, I use the Archangeloi.

However as said before there are no rules. Just giving yourself a wellbeing treat is of itself a benefit to your wellbeing. Your spirit has a memory, if you like, it doesn't forget this little thing you have given back.

To start working with Aura-Soma it is as easy as listening to the greater guide within. Choosing a bottle, using it regularly aligns the body wholisticly to its blueprint allows the memory of connection that has the potential to restore the body ,mind and soul through the energy systems of the body. Visit the little place of light or book a session online. Look forward to seeing you.
